Berklee Two Track: Gratitude ft. Ángela Varo
This Two Track episode features Andalusian violinist, composer, and producer Ángela Varo performing two songs: “Zyryab” by Paco de Lucía and her original tune “Tangos de la Almedina.” Ángela Varo is a violinist, composer, producer, and performer whose work is a fusion of jazz, flamenco, and Roma music. An alum of Berklee College of Music, Varo majored in contemporary writing and production and jazz performance, with a minor in jazz composition. She is currently a student at the prestigious Institute for Jazz and Gender Justice and the Berklee Global Jazz Institute master’s program. Two Track is a music video series designed for Berklee’s YouTube and social media channels that feature artists in an intimate setting with only one microphone and the continuous camera takes.
